Traditional (naatu) papaya grows into a fast-fruiting tree with sweet fruits. Packed by Sri Lakshmi Agro for home, terrace and kitchen gardens.

Good to know: Seed-grown papayas can be male, female or both; plant 2–3 and keep the plants that set fruit.
Growing tips
- Use a light, well-draining mix, such as garden soil, cocopeat and vermicompost in equal parts.
- Keep the soil moist but never waterlogged until the seeds sprout.
- Water in the morning or evening, and feed with compost or organic manure every 2–3 weeks once the plants are growing.
- Results depend on season, weather, soil and care.
