ABS-coated steel pipe has a steel core with a plastic coat. The coat keeps rain off the steel, and the frame is stiffer than plain UPVC.

Which size do I need?
Shelf depth sets the pot size: a 10 in deep shelf takes pots up to about 10 in across, and a 20 in deep shelf takes two rows. Length sets the count: divide the length by the pot size – a 40 in shelf holds four 10 in pots.
