A 3 × 4 × 2 ft HDPE vermi bed for making your own vermicompost at home, on the farm or in a nursery. It gives you 12 sq ft of composting area and about 24 cubic feet of space for cow dung, organic waste and compost worms – no digging or cement pit needed.

How to fill it
- Set the bed on level, shaded ground and fix support pipes along both long sides.
- Layer 1 – coarse base: coconut husk or dry leaves.
- Layer 2 – cow dung and waste: partly decomposed.
- Layer 3 – compost worms: spread them over the top.
- Layer 4 – cover: a jute or gunny sack.
- Keep it damp but never soggy, and out of direct sun.
