Step by step

1. Knobby side up – Plant tubers 5 cm deep, 20–30 cm apart, eyes facing up.
2. Warm & shady – Plant in warm soil; give part shade with gentle morning sun.
3. Even moisture – Keep the soil moist but free-draining through the season.
4. Rest period – When leaves fade in the cool months, keep tubers dry till spring.
