How to grow

1. Sow in clumps – Sow 8–10 seeds together, 0.5 cm deep.
2. Keep moist – Grass-like shoots appear in 10–14 days.
3. Grow as a clump – Keep each clump 15–20 cm apart.
4. Cut & come again – Cut leaves 3–5 cm above the soil; they regrow.

Harvest tips

1. Cut 3–5 cm above soil – Take a whole handful at once.
2. Regrows in 3–4 weeks – Cut again and again all season.
3. Edible flowers – Mild onion flavour – lovely in salads.
