Fruit Fly Trap + Methyl Eugenol Lure – Mango, Guava & Citrus

A fruit fly trap with a methyl eugenol lure for oriental fruit flies – the maggots in mangoes, guavas and citrus. The lure draws male flies into the trap, cutting egg-laying in fruits.

How it works

1. Hanging loop – Hang from a branch in the shade.
2. Entry cones – Male fruit flies crawl in through four cones.
3. Lure inside – The lure block hangs inside the trap.
4. Trap body – Flies are trapped and die inside.

Tips

1. Before fruiting – Hang traps before fruits start to colour.
2. In the shade – Hang inside the canopy, out of direct sun.
3. Lure care – Replace the lure when catches drop.
4. Field hygiene – Collect and destroy fallen, infested fruits.
