How to grow

1. Sow shallow – Sprinkle the tiny seeds on moist mix and barely cover them. Keep warm.
2. Keep moist – Mist daily – seedlings appear in 1–2 weeks.
3. Pot up – Move to a 10–12 inch pot in full sun at 4–6 leaves.
4. Pinch the tops – Pinch tips and flower spikes to keep the plant bushy and leafy.

Harvest tips

1. Pinch here – Snip just above a leaf pair – two new shoots grow back.
2. New shoots – Each pinch doubles the stems for a bushier plant.
3. Flower spikes (manjari) – Pinch off for more leaves, or let a few ripen for seed.
