How to grow

1. Surface sow – Press seeds lightly onto moist, sandy mix.
2. Barely moist – Mist lightly – soggy soil rots seedlings.
3. Pot up – Move to a 6–8 inch pot with gritty, fast-draining mix.
4. Snip sprigs – Trim soft green tips; never cut into old wood.

Harvest tips

1. Snip soft tips – Cut 5–8 cm sprigs from the green growth.
2. Spare the woody base – Old wood does not regrow – stay above it.
3. Tiny flowers – Edible, and loved by bees.
